Who We Are

iLearn Digital Hub is a Kenyan NGO committed to closing the digital divide and unlocking economic opportunities for underserved communities—especially youth and women in rural areas. Through practical digital literacy, job-readiness training, career pathways, and entrepreneurship development, we empower individuals to participate meaningfully in today’s digital economy.

Founded on the philosophy “i Learn, i Earn!”, our work transforms learning into income, skills into opportunity, and potential into real livelihoods.

Our Purpose

To bridge rural Kenya’s digital gap by equipping young people and women with essential digital, career, and entrepreneurship skills that enable them to secure employment, leverage online income opportunities, and build sustainable businesses.

Our History

iLearn Digital Hub was established in response to the growing digital inequality between Kenya’s urban and rural regions. While urban internet usage reached 55.2%, rural areas lagged at 23.5%, limiting access to online jobs, education, innovation, and essential public services.

Seeing this widening gap, our founder, Cleophas K. Kosgei, initiated a bold, community-centered approach: create highly practical digital programs that directly translate into employment, freelancing, and entrepreneurship.

Today, iLearn Digital Hub operates across multiple rural regions, partnering with TVETs, CBOs, county governments, private sector players, and youth groups to build sustainable digital ecosystems.

Our Unique Approach

We prioritize practical ICT skills like data management, cloud collaboration, social media for business, and online freelancing that directly translate into earning opportunities.

Entrepreneurship & Local Innovation

We nurture young innovators and entrepreneurs to create locally relevant solutions and small businesses such as: Digital marketing services, Graphics and content creation, Web development, Online shops, Social media businesses.

Community-Based Digital Hubs

Our digital hubs act as safe learning spaces where youth practice, collaborate, innovate, and access digital resources.

Strategic Partnerships for Sustainability

We work with: TVETs: Curriculum integration and Training of Trainers (ToT), CBOs: Community outreach, County/National Government: Facilities, policies, and funding, NITA: National certification, Private Sector & NGOs: Job placements and mentorship.
